High School Youth Program |
The purpose of the High School Youth program at Christ Memorial is to provide Christian based fellowship for youth in grades 9-12. In this fellowship, our intent is to provide spiritual growth opportunities, provide Christian Leadership training, provide Christian outreach opportunities, and provide a sanctuary where true friendship can be developed.
Social Activites
The High School Youth Group meets approximately twice a month. High School youth take leadership for planning and leading activites with adult supervision. Once a month Family Council meetings are held at which time youth work on the details for the next month's activities.
Monday Night Bible Study
Starting November 3, 2008, a High School Youth Bible study will take place in the Youth Room from 7:00-8:30 pm. This years' Bible study is baded on "Christian Peer Counseling" and is a Bible based program to teach us how to care for one another. Peer Ministry training will teach youth practical ways to put their faith into action. It will show youth how to care for each other through basic counseling and it will help youth build more meaningful relationships. Mrs. Skee will teach this class.
