| CHRIST MEMORIAL YOUTH MINISTRY |
| CHRIST OUR CORNERSTONE |
When a builder starts to build a house, he starts with a solid foundation. So it is with our lives. Without Jesus Christ as the solid foundation for our lives, we will have nothing on which to stand and will crumble. Christ needs to be the center of all we are and do.
So, it is with Youth Ministry as well. We base our foundation on the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20 which says to "Go and Make disciples" and also on the Great Commandment in Matthew 22:37-40 which says to "love the Lord your God with all your heart and wih all your soul and with all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself." This is the basis of Youth Ministry at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church. We focus our Youth Ministry on five ministry areas: discipleship, worship, service, outreach, and fellowship.
Youth Ministry encompasses youth from 6th grade through young adults. We offer a Middle School Youth Ministry program for 6-8th grade youth and a High School Youth Ministry program for 9-12th grade. We also have a College Age/Young Adult Bible Class which meets on Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45 and on other occasions for social activities.
Monthly Youth Newsletters are published to share information on upcoming events. The newsletters can be accessed by clicking on the youth ministry link of the church website: www.christmemorial.us
