The Music Program at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church is based around the Contemporary Service held on Saturday nights at 5:30 PM and the 2 Traditional/Blended Services on Sunday morning at 8:30 and 11:00 AM.
If you play guitar, drums or like to sing in a praise band, call Steve Schumm (610-269-7451) and he will be more than happy to get you plugged in!
Groups that participate in the Traditional/Blended Services are:
Children's Choir - (Kg - Gr.6) rehearse in the sanctuary from 5:15-6:00 every Wednesday evening. They sing at least once a month in a service. The rehearsal consists of a devotion, prayer, warm-up and singing. The Children's Choir Director is Susan Bell (610-518-0681).
Youth Choir - (Gr.7-12) rehearse from 6:20-6:45 on Wednesday evenings in the choir loft. During Advent and Lent, they will rehearse from 7:30-8:00 in the library. Susan Bell is the Youth Choir Director (610-518-0681).
Handbells - High Schoolers and Adults are welcome to participate! The handbells play at least once a month in services. They rehearse on Wednesdays from 6:45 to 7:30 in the library. During Advent and Lent, they will rehearse from 8:15-9:00 PM. Ed Barrow is the Handbell Director (610-269-1361).
Adult Choir - Open to all high schoolers and adults who love to sing! This choir sings 2-3 times per month and rehearses at 7:30 PM in the choir loft. The Choir Director is Ed Barrow (610-269-1361).
There are additional opportunities to participate in the music program! If you like to sing solos, sing in a small group, play an instrument or help with the sound system, please talk to Susan Bell (610-618-0681). We can always use your God given talent! |
