Why Do We Exist?
 
As part of the Christ Memorial Lutheran Church family, the purpose of the Christ Memorial Lutheran School is to foster the competence in all areas of a preschooler´s life. Our plan is to accomplish this by providing a stimulating Christian atmosphere in which to grow and develop, where God is praised and reverenced. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to provide an environment in which each child´s growth and development can be observed and assessed in order to identify specific abilities and areas of additional need.

As an outreach of Christian love, we hope to serve as a welcome center for parents, providing resources so that the understanding of children and the Gospel may be enhanced. All of this is done to help children and ultimately their families, grow closer to God.

 

Classes Offered
The Christ Memorial Lutheran Preschool and Kindergarten is a state licensed school. All of our teachers are state certified and all of our classes have a teacher´s assistant. We offer twelve regular classes and five Enrichment classes. The age requirements and available classes are as follows:

Young 3´s classes: M/W morning from 9:00-11:30
T/Th morning from 9:00-11:30
*These classes are for children turning 3 between September 1 and February 10 of the present school year. Each class has 10 children.

Regular 3´s classes: M/W morning from 9:00-11:30
T/Th morning from 9:00-11:30
M/W afternoon from 12:30-3:00
T/Th afternoon from 12:30-3:00
*These classes are for children who are three years old by September 1st of the present school year. Each class has twelve children.

Pre-K classes: M/W/F morning 9:00-11:30
T/TH/F morning 9:00-11:30
M/W/F afternoon 12:30-3:00
T/Th/F afternoon 12:30-3:00
*These classes are for children who are four years old by September 1st of the present school year. Each class has fourteen children.

Kindergarten classes: Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 1:00PM Two classes available. Bussing is provided for children living in the West Chester and Great Valley school districts
*These classes are available for children who are five years old by September 1st of the present school year. Each class has fifteen children.

We also have Enrichment classes for three year olds and Pre-K children, daily Munch Bunch, and Extended day hours available from Monday through Thursday. Since these change according to need, please call (610)296-0650 for availability. Thanks!

Just A Bit More About Christ Memorial!

We offer our children a loving and caring Christian atmosphere! When children feel secure and confident, they are ready to learn! We offer many educational assemblies and opportunities for parents to come and help out! We have a wonderful Christmas program, Mom and Dad´s days, Chapel for our Pre-K and K, library for our Pre-K and K, an annual Art Show, an indoor playroom, a beautiful outdoor playground and so much more! We welcome you to bring your child to visit!

 

How Do I Register?

Registration takes place for church members, Kindergarten, and those registering multiple children, on February 4, 2010.  You may register in the school office between 9:15 am - 3:00 pm.  In house registration continues for families registering one child on February 5, 2010.  These registration times are 9:15-10:30 am for 3's classes and 10:30-12:00 noon for Pre-K classes.

   Registration for the public begins on Thursday, February 11, 2010.  You may register in the school office at any time between 9:15 am - 3:00 pm.
